The 64th Annual E.S. Meyers Memorial lecture is the premier academic event on the University of Queensland Medical Society calendar. The Lecture is a special tribute to the life of Professor Meyers, and a wonderful opportunity to bring together members of the medical, university and general community.
This year we have the privilege of hearing from Mr Li Cunxin AO, Mao’s Last Dancer. Born into poverty and then rising to one of the biggest names in ballet, Li’s remarkable story embodies determination, passion, and success.
The E.S. Meyers Memorial Lecture is held as a free public event for all to attend and enjoy.
