Join us for a relaxing afternoon to discuss your thoughts about this book or to simply make some new friends over a warm cup of coffee. This is a FREE event and everyone is welcome!

When: Saturday 29th Feb, 3pm

Where: Kettle & Tin, Paddington

Book: ‘This is going to hurt’ by Adam Kay

‘This is going to hurt’ is written by comedic writer and former doctor, Adam Kay. Through his old diary entries, Adam gives a first-hand account of life as a junior doctor in all its joy, pain, sacrifice and maddening bureaucracy. Hilarious, honest and at times heartbreaking, this book shares with its readers the ups and downs of life as an OB/GYN in the NHS.

There will also be free coffee and tea!

Join our Facebook group ‘Read Between the Minds’ to keep updated on the book clubs we hold throughout the year:
