Need a break from study? Sick of always reading Robbin’s? Let yourself unwind at UQMind’s first event of 2020… Book Club I! Leisure reading has some awesome benefits including lower stress levels, better sleep and greater mental flexibility. The book we have chosen is ‘This is going to hurt’ by Adam Kay. Join us for a relaxing afternoon to discuss your thoughts about this book or to simply make some new friends over a warm cup of coffee. This is a FREE event and everyone is welcome!
When: Saturday 29th Feb, 3pm
Where: Kettle & Tin, Paddington
Book: ‘This is going to hurt’ by Adam Kay
‘This is going to hurt’ is written by comedic writer and former doctor, Adam Kay. Through his old diary entries, Adam gives a first-hand account of life as a junior doctor in all its joy, pain, sacrifice and maddening bureaucracy. Hilarious, honest and at times heartbreaking, this book shares with its readers the ups and downs of life as an OB/GYN in the NHS.
There will also be free coffee and tea!
