The UQ Surgical Skills Competition is open to all UQ Year 3 Medical Students only. 5 finalists will be chosen to represent UQ at the Queensland Surgical Skills Competition held by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).

DETAILS
Date: 4th September 2021
Time: 9:00AM-12:30PM (please arrive 30min prior for registration)
Venue: Health Science Building, Herston

PROGRAM
– 25 students will be split into groups of 5
– The groups will rotate through the 5 stations, but will work as individuals
– At each station, there will be a 3-5 minute demonstration followed by 20-22 minutes for the test

– Knot Tying
– Laparoscopy
– Anatomy Theory
