Our story

UQ O&G is a student-run interest group dedicated to promoting obstetric and gynaecological health and reproductive justice across the University of Queensland community. Our group aims to provide a platform for students to engage in more O&G content outside of the UQ curriculum and connect students with doctors and other allied health professionals in the field.

 

Since the group’s inception in 2020, UQ O&G has been able to achieve these goals by hosting a variety of events within each of the group’s branches. These include seminars and fundraisers within the Advocacy branch, journal clubs and an OSCE preparation workshop within the Academic branch, and a large networking gala each year within our networking branch (on top of other fun socials!). As the field of obstetrics and gynaecology is ever evolving, we are always open to new ideas and cannot wait to welcome you to our club!
